This awesome ESL business greenwashing lesson will teach your advanced students about a fascinating topic through a great video, and numerous fun exercises!

The class begins with a useful warm up activity where learners are tasked with defining ‘greenwashing’. Following that, students move on to an excellent speaking exercise where they discuss prominent companies, and the effect they have on the planet. 

Next, learners study vocabulary from the video. They are tasked with finding the correct definitions for each word before being asked questions. These questions allow ESL participants to practice using their newly acquired language. 

Fourthly, the video is analysed in detail, as quotes are taken from the video and discussed. After that, ESL students will have further speaking and reading practice through an innovative ‘profiles’ task. Finally, this ESL business greenwashing lesson finishes with an awesome debating task. Activities:
