The class begins with a fun warm-up exercise. Next, they are introduced to new words related to the topic, which they are then challenged to use in the next exercise. 

Multiple Christmas words and activities are explored in-detail, before learners are given a series of tasks related to the topic. Afterwards, there is a reading exercise in which students read Harriet’s Christmas celebrations. 

There is an awesome listening activity which enables students to practise their comprehension skills. This A1 Christmas ESL lesson plan finishes with two excellent speaking activities which your students will love!
