Learners discuss everyday reading ideas such as their favourite book, favourite genres, favourite authors and characters, and where and when they like to read. They also talk about simple reading habits like reading at home, reading in bed, reading in English, and using books or audiobooks.

Through various fun and engaging ESL exercises, students build confidence talking about books and sharing their opinions in short, simple sentences.

This lesson is ideal for A1 learners who are developing basic speaking skills on familiar topics such as books, reading, and everyday interests. Activity layout:
