Learners explore six diets from around the world, including the Mediterranean, Japanese, Indian, Mexican, Korean, and American diets. They describe food and meals, compare eating habits, discuss their own preferences, and learn useful vocabulary and collocations connected to food and eating.

Through a range of fun and engaging ESL activities, students practise describing pictures, identifying information from a reading, discussing food choices, and sharing their opinions about different diets and eating habits around the world.

This lesson is ideal for A2 learners who want to develop their speaking skills while practising useful language for discussing food, preferences, healthy eating, and different cultures.
