Fashion, trends and sustainability make for great conversation. Students get to practice the difference between the Present Continuous and Present Simple tense. This ESL intermediate fashion lesson plan contains many fun and thought-provoking exercises to keep your intermediate students engaged! And; they’ll be able to have meaningful conversations about fashion and trends.
Students start with a fun warm up activity where they have to guess the correct fact. Then, they learn useful vocabulary related to fashion. Next, in this ESL intermediate fashion lesson plan - students complete a listening and speaking exercise related to the video.
Thereafter, learners recap the grammar point and complete multiple speaking and writing exercises to practice. This is followed by a reading and comprehension task. After that, students have to practice their free speaking skills with a fun exercise where they go online shopping. This ESL intermediate fashion lesson should be used with students with at least a B1 level who are interested in fashion.
As usual, this ESL intermediate fashion lesson includes a set of homework exercises. Students practice more grammar with two exercises. Then, they practice their writing skills with a Present Simple exercise.
