This B1 ESL lesson is all about money habits and the question: Are you a spender or a saver? Students will explore different attitudes towards money and learn useful vocabulary related to spending, saving, budgeting, and financial choices in everyday life.
Through clear and engaging activities, learners will practise talking about their personal money habits, how they make spending decisions, and how they plan (or don’t plan) their savings. They will also learn how to give opinions, agree and disagree politely, and explain reasons for financial choices.
The lesson includes speaking tasks, short reading and listening activities, and engaging discussions to help students build confidence using English in real-life money situations. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to describe their spending style and compare it with others in a simple and natural way.
