In this ESL Level 0 kids lesson plan on the Chinese New Year, students will learn 12 names of common Chinese New Year-related words through fun activities, and games. This lesson encourages vocabulary building and pronunciation practice for beginners.
Level 0 is perfect for young learners who are just starting out on their English learning journey. Students with zero English knowledge are able to take these classes, allowing them to take their first steps towards fluency!
As always with the kids’ units at ESL Pals, there are three lesson plans within each unit. The lessons teach basic words through multiple fun exercises and games. The minimum length of each lesson plan is 30 minutes.
The first lesson in this ESL Kids Chinese New Year unit teaches new vocabulary through multiple, fun activities.
The second lesson in this ESL Kids Chinese New Year unit teaches the same format as lesson 1 but introduces new words related to the topic.
The third lesson in this ESL Kids Chinese New Year unit recaps all of the new words taught in the first two classes through multiple fun activities and games.
