This A2 ESL lesson explores the topic “What Are Your Fears?”, helping students learn useful vocabulary and phrases for describing fears, emotions, and personal experiences.

Learners discuss common fears, rank different situations based on how scary they are, and practise using key adjectives such as calm, nervous, worried, stressed, scared, frightened, and terrified. They develop their ability to talk about their feelings, explain reasons, and describe how they respond to fear.

Through a variety of engaging activities, students build confidence discussing personal fears, sharing experiences, and expressing opinions about overcoming challenges.

This lesson is ideal for A2 learners who are developing fluency in everyday topics such as emotions, personal experiences, feelings, and social conversations.
