In this awesome class students explore the unknown - future food! The lesson is video based but also contains exercises based around phrasal verbs, expressing certainty and doubt and discussions!

Through this fascinating subject, students will discuss and consider what the future holds in terms of food - all of this makes it a lot of fun! We recommend giving this class to advanced learners with curious minds. The exercises present new concepts and language, but most importantly it gives students the necessary scaffolding to have lively, educational debates!

Activity Layout

  1. Warm up: Breakfast foods. 
  2. Describing foods. 
  3. Phrasal verbs. 
  4. Video vocabulary. 
  5. Topic discussion. 
  6. Grammar: How to express certainty or doubt. 
  7. Debate. 

Homework

The theme of this lesson continues with a detailed homework assignment. Firstly, there is a phrasal verbs exercise linked to food which will benefit students greatly! Secondly, exercise 2 challenges students to continue their work from the lesson. Finally, there is a prediction exercise which enables learners to use the language they learned in class!
